CRaVE Ultra Plush Hybrid Innerspring Mattress Review
Amazing mattress
I'm writing this only 1 week since our UltraPlush Hybrid king-size mattress arrived. I love how it feels when I get into bed. I haven't felt that way in years. I also like the 12" depth as it doesn't require "deep pocket" fitted sheets!
I chose the UltraPlush Hybrid with help from the tool on goodbed.com. Apparently, weighing less than 120 pounds at 5'4" tall and being a side-sleeper most of the time, I need a softer mattress. (Hubby's sleep isn't affected by soft, firm, in-between - he sleeps through the night both at home and when we're traveling - so we went with the recommendation for my quirks.)
I have a LOT of aches and pain due to osteoarthritis in my spine and hips. I was concerned that "ultra plush" might mean that I would sink into the mattress, which would not be good for my back. I don't sink in but feel the box springs are giving just the right amount of support while the top layer provides a luxurious, cozy feeling.
This is a beautiful mattress and, even though it's covered up with sheets & a duvet, I know the beauty and care in construction are there! Also, the Easy Foundation really makes me happy. It's covered in a charcoal-colored upholstery weight fabric and features a clever construction system that was fairly easy to put together (I needed a rubber mallet for assistance). I also purchased the black wrought iron frame. Nice! With the frame, base, and mattress, the bed is the perfect height off the floor. —Nancy B
