Hampton & Rhodes San Martin Hybrid Mattress Review
Incredible!
I was incredibly surprised by how amazing this bed is. I wouldn't consider this a plush-which at first was a disappointment. My mind was quickly changed after a few nights of blissful sleep. This bed hugs your whole body, doesnt overheat, and I’m unable to feel the movements of my floppy 5 year old. I typically wake often, and because of being a stomach sleeper, my back tends to be sore-this bed contours to my shape, and I fall asleep fast, stay asleep, and best of all, no sore back. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I would recommend this bed to anyone. Its an incredible deal! —William
Too firm
I want to love this mattress. When it arrived I was initially excited- it had a great look and feel at first glance. My excitement quickly turned to despair. First, the smell caused significant respiratory symptoms. If you are sensitive to odors- beware! It has improved over time so I anticipate it will continue to get better. Second, the bed is too firm. I sleep on my back and sides. It has caused pain on my shoulders and hips due to inadequate circulation. When on my back it is not as bad but lately I am experiencing more pain in my neck. Lastly, when you sit on the edge of the bed you sink in. Unfortunately, I will need to purchase something to put on the top of this mattress otherwise it will be useless. It is impacting my sleep and ability to train for an upcoming 10k race due to the increasing discomfort at my joints. I am pleased with 2 previous purchases from mattress firm but this missed the mark. —Denver
