Feels Like A Sauna At Night

I originally ordered a Nest Alexander Hybrid mattress but that was too soft for my back. Received this and on immediate contact, the comfort was great!. However, every night I noticed I would wake up sweating. Not a light sweat but clothes drenched. Haven't called Nest about this yet but if you naturally sleep hot please look at the hybrid mattress.—Andrew

I was lucky to be able to test out all the Nest offerings at the Soma store in SF. I ultimately purchased the Alexander Signature in Luxury Firm. Best decision of 2018 by far! There was zero downtime from when I received my mattress and opened the package--degassing was non-existent and I could sleep on it right out of the box. This mattress is insulating and cooling at once, and as a hot sleeper--I immediately noticed the difference! Falling sleep easily than before

I’m a hot sleeper who loves waterbed like beds, wife wants firm but not a rock like the current bed. Rep told us medium when I emailed and 2 months in - we couldn’t be happier!! Fits both of us perfect and we are both falling asleep in minutes vs hours. I no longer fully wake up in the middle of the night and neither does she. For me, it sleeps much much cooler thanks to the springs. I’ve noticed the heat doesn’t sit on the bed at all. Only downer to this means there’s no "cool side" either but without the heat staying - really don’t need it. Neither of us toss and turn at all really. The wife went from hours to falling asleep to under 30min (most nights under 15min) and wakes up without pain. The middle section of the bed is great - it will take time to adjust and find the right position but were amazed at the difference. Yes if its raining during drop off, your bed will be rough to move into position but is what it is.—Jon K

I have tried several, Now buy the best!!

I've tried several different companies. They all thanks to the trial periods have been able to try 5 mattresses. This Alexander hybrid mattress is the perfect mattress for me. I was told by my doctor to purchase a firm mattress. Didn't worh for me. I would wake up with shoulder and hip pain being I sleep on my side I found them to hard. I finally went to a show room so I could try out a few. Once I played on this one in plush!!! We made a sell right there. I never felt like I needed to return it because its perfect for me. When you lay down you feel like ur sinking in but just enough. Then ur body seems to ooze into it. I have had the bed 9 months now, I still love it.—Patricia A

Great mattress but warm

I recently bought the love and sleep mattress. It came within the time frame in which they said it would which is always a plus. It’s such a comfortable bed, my only flaw is that it sleeps really warm. So I got bamboo sheets as recommended by a specialist at nest, but that hasn’t helped. Plus I live in Vermont so it’s not a hot climate. Besides that I would recommend this mattress to anyone!—Kelsey H

Robyn Loves Her Nest

I ordered the Medium/Firm, Love and Sleep mattress, because it is supposed to relieve pressure points such as neck, shoulder and hip; good for side sleepers, it is supposed to sleep cool; be supportive and yet provide comfort without that feeling of slipping into a sink hole. I LOVE MY NEST!! The mattress delivers on everything it advertises and there was no smell when I unpacked the mattress, plus it is made in the USA. I Love going to Sleep on my Nest mattress.—Robyn W

Mattress unfit for me but great company

My wife and I both liked the bed after we got thru the 3 week break-in period. However I believe I am too heavy for this bed to support me properly. I weigh 265, at 6'1", I have back pain, so I am a side sleeper. It did not work out for me. My wife's only complaint was the edge support she thought it needs more and she needs more pressure point relief for her hips. She would probably prefer softer. If it would have had more of a zoned support from the springs, I think I may have kept it.unfortunately we went thru the return process after about 45 days. Customer service was really great about it, and I felt bad. I wanted to love it. The latex was real nice and the top was great. At the end of the day if I was 220 and did not have such back pain it probably would have been the one. Nest is a great company on my experience. I did keep the pillow. Will probably try them again in the future if they addressed my body type better.—Terry g

Excellent material and construction

Have had my mattress about a month and am in love. I researched for about 3 months and always came back to the Nest mattress. Am a side sleeper with lower back pain. This mattress has just enough foam to hold your body without disappearing. It has an attractive mattress topper made of organic wool. The copper in the latex foam keeps cool all night. I must say I hate getting out of bed now. Delivery was perfect. On time to my front door. Also bought the queen frame and it also is great. I'm 130 lbs and got everything inside and put together by myself. Yes it is heavy and a handful but it can be done. Made that first nights rest even sweeter.—Carol L

Great mattress

I got the latex mattress after Nest's Alexander Hybrid slept too warm for me. I almost tried the latex hybrid but decided that I didn't want the "suspended" feeling that the springs from the Alexander Hybrid gave me so I opted for the 100% Latex. So glad I did!!! It sleeps so much cooler than my old Tempurpedic did (and the Alexander Hybrid for that matter) and the support it gives is wonderful. It was hard to make that kind of investment for a mattress I hadn't tried out ahead of time but I'm so glad I trusted the other reviews and went for it. Like the other reviewers stated though, it's HEAVY! I got a king mattress and even though I've lifted weights for years, I had to have help moving and assembling it. By the way, Nest's customer service is amazing. Awesome people to work with.—Jo B

Overall respectable item for sleep

With some minor inconveniences, but great for sleep! I purchased the Organic Latex with the Soft Topper I've had this set up for a week now (had it in boxes for 2 1/2 weeks). Cons: 1. Inconvenient to put together Impossible to get the edges to match perfectly, so if you're OCD, it'll be an issue 2. Doesn't stand on it's side (sags and bends), so if you're moving it after it's initially set up, I would talk to the company - I'm guessing recommendations are to take it apart and roll it, or somehow transport it flat (hope you're not moving across the country). 3. Like straight memory foam and other latex mattresses, no firm edge if you're accustomed to it or sharing a bed. I'm single so this is not much of an issue Pros 1. ABSOLUTELY NO Off-Gassing / smell 2. Incredibly comfortable when sitting, laying 3. I have no should or neck pain when side-sleeping 4. I have no lower-back pain when laying on my back 5. Organic - I have sensitive health, so it's a great peace of mind to know there's nothing lurking there. 6. Breathable - no sweating or overheating.—Taylor S
