Unbelievable Quality and Support
Everyone knows how difficult it is to decide on what Mattress to buy, with so many to choose from and each person's individual preferences on what works best for them. Well, let me tell you, I have been a bargain shopper with mattresses for the last three I have purchased and found myself unhappy and in pain after two years every time. I am a Side and Back sleeper and so I always went with the comfortable plush pillow tops and memory foam mattresses, they were good at first, but I could just tell that the quality of those Mattresses were sub par and I would be back in the market shortly. This time would be different, I decided to step it up and go with the Blue Max 5000 Elite Luxury Firm mattress. Well, I have been nothing but surprised. The first thing that I noticed was the quality of the mattress cover and the material on the Box Spring. It is a velvety material that is soft to the touch and very durable. The first look of this mattress shows the craftsmanship is superior and that I have invested in something truly well made. The first nights sleep was even more of a surprise, I laid down and immediately felt cradled and supported, I switched from my side to my back and was able to sleep comfortably in both positions. I slept the entire night without tossing and turning and woke up the next morning feeling rested and without lower back or shoulder pain. Every time I get into bed I am more and more happy with my choice, making me have zero doubt that this Mattress will last a long time and I will be sleeping amazing for years to come. One other thing, this Mattress is unlike any other memory foam I have ever been on, it creates a new standard for what other mattress companies should look up to. Not too shabby!!
We received this bed, and was very impressed by it's appearance, quality and packaging. The mattress is about 14 inches tall, and as soon as we placed it on the box springs, we both crawled up and laid down. I could feel my body relaxing as I sank into the mattress. It is a soft mattress, that gives some support, so if you are looking for a mattress with great support, this may not be for you. I must say that we didn't toss and turn nearly as much, and both my husband and I felt we got a much better sleep than our older spring mattress. I also didn't feel hot, as one may think in sleeping on a foam mattress. This is a very soft mattress, and would have given 5 stars if it gave a little more support. Great night's sleep
I have suffered from back and hip pain for several years. I always felt the worst getting out of bed in the morning. One day my wife and I were talking and she mentioned that she wakes up in pain. At that moment we realized that our mattress was not the one for us. We just happened to be on vacation and happened upon a furniture store with serta mattresses. We went inside and looked around. The salesperson was very helpful and showed us the i-comfort blue max 3000 with the adjustable base. We knew instantly when we laid on it that it was the mattress for us. We never jump on anything right away, so when we returned home from vacation we decided to shop around. We had gotten a flyer on tempurpedic memory foam mattresses so we checked those out. I could not get over the sticker shock on the price. We located the serta mattress we tried on vacation at Mattress Firm. What a great experience!!! Very helpful staff and the price was right. Two mattresses, one firm and one plush
We bought two Twin XL I comfort blue Max 1000 TXL mattresses with fully adjustable and vibrating deluxe foundations. We have them together (side by side) to make on King. After trying them out in the store, my wife wanted the plush, I wanted the firm. We replaced a Select Comfort (Sleep Number) mattress that we had had for 23 years. We wanted a change and also wanted something adjustable that would vibrate but we wanted to be able to adjust the mattresses independently. We have had our new bed(s) for six weeks now. My wife slept on the plush for two weeks and then we switched mattresses. After just a couple of days, she wanted her plush back. She rates it an 8 out of ten for sleep, comfort, etc. I tried the plush for a couple of days, and liked it, but prefer something a little more firm. Our previous Select Comfort bed had a 2" gel foam topper, so we are used to the cooling effect of the gel foam on our new mattresses.—Anns150
Not to soft Not to firm.Just right
My previous no name foam mattress slept very warm and after 10 years had a terminal sag. Time to go shop a new mattress. I tried a hybrid mattress first, name brand, plush with inner coil and foam....nope... too mushy and did not work well on my adjustable frame. Second up was an all foam mattress in a firm, I thought this might be what I needed since my old bed was way to soft now. Nope!... way to firm with no give in the hip and shoulder area. I know my salesman( who was ever so patient) was not that surprised to see me when I came back! After reviewing my concerns he asked me to try the I comfort blue max 1000. I had originally tried to get something comfortable in a lower price range, but I tried it because he had been helpful and so patient. As soon as I was horizontal I knew this was the bed for me. Not so firm that when I turned I felt pressure on my hips and not too plush that I couldn’t maneuver. This mattress is also very comfortable when lying on my back. Good quality and comfortable
I received this Serta mattress a week ago, and it is more on the soft/plush side. So far the mattress is extremely comfortable when sleeping on my side and back, and doesn't sink in too deeply (conforms with your body). The plushness of the mattress provides well distributed support when relaxing and trying to sleep, with just the right amount of softness. However, the mattress seems smaller than my previous Serta queen size mattress, and not so sure about the temperature regulation feature because I can't tell a difference between this mattress and my old mattress(could be due to me living in the South where temperatures are hot). I can't say enough on how comfortable it is, and the great quality of the Serta Blue Max 1000 plush mattress. I am very happy thus far with the mattress.—Benjam36. Tifton, Ga
iComfort is exactly that i want
I absolutely love this mattress, it's so soft like a cloud that hugs me in all the right places and supports me where I need it. The one major selling point for me was the cooling features this mattress had, because I sleep like a heater and I like it cold. Unfortunately, I have a big television and home theater system in my bedroom which tends to cause it to be hotter than your usual bedroom and on top of that my old memory foam would retain my body heat so I could never get a cool nights sleep. The only mattress that I knew of that would keep me cool was the Tempurpedic Breeze models, and I don't know about you but I don't have $3,000 or $5,000 for a mattress. It was like this mattress was a gift from God, because I could not only afford this mattress but it was soft and cooling. I am now a "Firm" believer in a firm mattress.!
For the majority of my life I have slept on a medium to soft mattress. Being a larger male I contributed my aches and pains every morning to a lifetime of playing sports and let's face it, my age. Until now. This mattress was a shock to me. The first night I slept on it my immediate reaction getting into bed was how it didn't dip or depress from the weight of my body. While feeling soft it gave me tremendous support. That support didn't feel "hard" or "stiff" as I expected. I still felt the softness of the mattress but with the added support to keep my body from sinking into the mattress. I woke up with no discomfort. No aches or little pains in my back as I have had for years. The real test was my wife. Her first reaction was to consider a mattress topper as she felt this would be too "hard" for her. But she gave it a few days and she reluctantly admits she too feels so much better in the mornings. She didn't buy the topper and feels no need for it now. The mattress is well made with tight stitching. Even though this mattress is firm it has the softness of a luxury mattress. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and can honestly say you will appreciate the quality of this Serta mattress. The mattress has a depth of approximately 13.5". Combined with the boxspring height of 9" you have a total height of 22.5". Keep this in mind as my wife immediately noticed the height difference from our old mattress. Overall the quality and value are spot on with this set. I have had more expensive and less expensive sets over the years but this one tops the charts for me and happily my wife as well.—Patsfan. No more tossing and turning
I was a bit skeptical when this bed arrived and I saw that it was a Firm bed because I am use to my bed being super soft but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is. I was most happy because my husband was sleeping better at night, not tossing and turning all night. He said his body didn't ache in the morning like is had before with our old bed. I think my favorite part was that because he gets up in the early hours of the morning to get ready for work and sits on the edge of the bed to dress I didn't even feel it,before I felt every little movement. Amazing Mattress, very comfortable, excellent build quality
When I first took the mattress out of the plastic, the feel of the bed was super soft. After getting it set up on the frame, before I even put sheets on it I laid down. The mattress was wonderful, I felt myself actually being happy in a mattress. I didn't use Serta prior to this and I will never use another brand again. The Plush is exactly as it says, it isn't too soft that it leaves you feeling like you are sinking, as well as not too firm where you feel like your back is aching. It conforms to your curves perfect, while giving you extra cushion to lay on. It is like sleeping on the clouds! The mattress doesn't feel springy, I even pushed down hard to make sure after the mattress sets it wont feel that way. This mattress sits at a perfect height (I'm 5'11) to where when I kick my legs off the bed in the morning, my toes hit the floor). It also has that wonderful crawl into bed feeling. The mattress speaks for itself. The only thing I can say, for a shorter person, like my wife, your feet will hang due to the bed being thick (Which is a good thing because the construction of the bed is well done. If you are looking for a plush mattress then I have to say after a week of sleeping on this one, I am sold. It is worth every penny spent. TLDR: Mattress is plush. Not too firm, not too soft. Gives to curves and provides extra comfort for those looking for something in between. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone that enjoys a soft bed. I bought both the I Serta comfort hybrid 300 pillowtop and I comfort blue fusion 200 one was for my guest room the other for my room! I was told to get the pillow top but I am so sorry I did! I LOVE my blue fusion 200 tight top don’t stop making that bed! The blue fusiin300 was not soft it was rated medium! I had 9 spinal surgeries and a scoliosis and it hurts like crazy! I expected a soft comfy feeling with good support but it’s too firm when it’s called a plush I expect a plush! So it’s going back and I am ordering another blue fusion 200 hybrid! I LoVE that bed! No adjustment time needed! I slept in it and could feel it softly confirm with my body! I am 5’8 140 lbs so not large! The 200 just allowed my body to confirm I woke up with no pain no trigger points and had the best nights sleep in just two nights! It’s not hard but not soft just right nothing like the 300!!! The 300 makes my whole body ache I think from what I have been told memory foam is firmer and it is! So back this goes and I am buying the I comfort hybrid blue fusion 200 so I will have two for both my rooms. If your expecting the blue fusion 300 plush PT to be soft your in for a huge surprise! The blue fusion 200 my body just gently confirmed to it no pain! The 300 causes more pain for me! But after having Simmons for years I will only buy Serta mattress they are worth every penny! Even though the 300 isn’t for me it’s a very high quality mattress great for a couple! The blue fusion hybrid 200 is great for someone my size or larger smaller anyone who needs the bed to conform with your body ! I sleep in my guest room now till I get my new 200!!
