Rubix Hybrid Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding Review

So far it exceeds my expectation

After trying out a few hybrid latex (aireloom, and custom) and not finding the 'right' feel, i stumbled on Rubix and it suites us best. My wife preferred a very soft side, and firm for my side with our split adjustable frame. So far we've tried 2 different combos of the top layers and it exceeds our expectation with its flexibility and quality value. Cons is that the edge support wasn't as good as the aireloom but reasonable enough. Also, due to the BF busy season, shipping is very slow. -binh n

Goldilocks finally finds the just-right mattress - Rubix

I'm embarrassed to say how long I've been looking for a mattress. I'm like the princess in the story of The Princess and the Pea - so sensitive she can feel a single pea beneath 100 mattresses. I'm not average size (110 pounds, age over 60) and mattresses don't feel the same to me as someone who weighs 160 pounds. There are not many customizable mattresses available, and the ones I found had features that seemed problematic. Even mattresses ordered from a brick-and-mortar store feel different than the showroom models. Online mattress descriptions are different than user experience. Rubix has the perfect solution to these limitations--you can adjust the comfort layers yourself. I am using the soft layer on top of the medium layer, and it's perfect for this lightweight side sleeper. My shoulders, back, and hips don't hurt in the morning any more! The soft layer fully supports the curve of my waist when I'm on my side, which keeps my lumbar spine aligned. And if my needs change, I can switch the layers rather than buy another mattress. I'm very grateful to this company for offering this type of customizable mattress.-Michele R
